Qi Gong & Breathwork, two powerful yet simple practices that help you:

  • Stay calm under pressure

  • Release tension from the body & mind

  • Improve flexibility, balance & focus

  • Build resilience against stress & anxiety

Qi Gong is the foundational practice of Tai Chi—an ancient Chinese discipline that harmonizes breath, movement, and intention to cultivate Qi energy and a calm, focused mind.

Soma Breath is a deeply meditative journey combining rhythmic breathing with music, and breath holds. This practice includes guided meditation and specific breathing patterns is designed to activate the body's natural healing abilities. Athletes train in a similar state known as intermittent hypoxia, which enhances resilience and performance. By engaging in this practice, we bypass the default mode network—home to our inner critic—creating a powerful opportunity for self-transformation and intention setting.

What to Bring:

  • An open mind.

  • Loose, comfortable clothing & flat shoes for movement

  • A yoga mat, blanket, or sleeping bag for breathwork (you’ll be sitting or lying down)

  • A bottle of water (I bring spring water from the forest every session for us to share)

Important Safety Info:

Breathwork is safe for most people and has profound benefits. However, if you have any of the following conditions, please avoid exhale breath retention:

  • Severe/critical diseases or infections if it impairs your ability to breathe

  • Severe uncontrolled hypertension (usually after a heart attack)

  • Organ failure or late-stage terminal illness

  • Pregnancy

  • If you have epilepsy

  • If you have a pacemaker, or irregular heart beat
